Gwen got this toy as a gift, but I like playing with it more than she does right now. I love to bounce!

Here is another one of Gwen's toys that I like to play with. I, unfortunately, am not allowed to play in this toy and get in trouble when I do.

We went to daddy's work last night to eat dinner. There was this crazy balloon lady there and she made me a hat and a bat. Here is some video of me playing with it today, before I got distracted by my obsession, "Elmo's World".

20 months and counting....

Dear Cole fans,

My sincerest apologies for not updating the blog in the past 5 months. I've been a little busy taking care of my new baby sister. I love her soooo much, even if I accidently hurt her once in a while with my craziness. Here are just a few quick videos....

Mama is teaching me how to kick sports balls. I think I'm getting pretty good at it.

This is a toy that used to be mine, but now it is for Gwen. I still don't fully understand this concept and so I still try to put myself in her saucer and I tend to get stuck. Daddy caught me doing it on video and then put me in timeout for not being obedient.

Cole Being Cole

Walk the Line

I love playing with the remotes, but I'm still trying to figure out how to turn the tv on.

I have been able to walk (for more than 1 or 2 steps) for a couple of weeks now and I love it! Here is a short video of some of the action. Nowadays I like to walk and drink from my sippy cup at the same time.

Big Baby C ---- Livin' the Good Life

Besides turning the BIG "1", I have been up to lots of stuff these past couple of months. I got to go to Seattle to see some of my homies, I found out that I am going to have a little sister, and I taught myself to walk (look for some video of that in a future blog). Papa & Gramee got me this baby doll to help prepare me to have a little sister. I guess I have some work left to do.

Here I am with my buddy, Drew, on the 4th of July. He's going to be a daddy in a few weeks!

Football season is a mere 8 weeks away, so I am making sure that I'll be ready to rep my teams when the season begins. Here I am in my Iowa shirt.

The Gators are so destined to raise another National Championship trophy this year, that I laugh at their opponents!

So sorry for my absense in posting to the blog. As you know, I'm usually too busy being awesome to get on here very often. But I promise that I'll try to post more often since I know you all need your fix.

Here is some video of me spending some quality time with one of my lady friends, Sierra. We usually hang out once or twice a week, just kickin' it. She's a pretty cool chica, but don't worry ladies, I'm still single.

The woman in my life that I am closest to would be mi madre. I love playing games with her. She's a fun chicky.

I've been working out, so I like to show off my muscles. I have also been working on my jump shot. This video has both. Feel free to watch as many times as you'd like.

Conquering Steps & Cousin Abuse

When Paige and Alexia came to see me, they were staying with some friends who have stairs in their house. This was the first time mommy and daddy let me try to climb some, and I conquered them no problem.

Having the cousins in town was a lot of fun. Paige loves to smack me around on my head, while Alexia is content washing down her cupcake icing with some cow-bubbley.

25 Random thing about Cole...

1. I was born on June 11th of last year, which was a Wednesday.
2. My mom reads "Guess How Much I Love You?" to me every night before I go to bed.
3. I eat "big boy food" twice a day now; stuff like peas, green beans, and baby cereal.
4. I love to Skype with people. Hit me up sometime!
5. I have just recently gotten the hang of this crawling thing. It's awesome! I can go just about anywhere I want!
6. I made it to all 4 major U.S. time zones in my first four months of life.
7. I am getting better at playing by myself in my playpen. I can go maybe a half hour on good days.
8. My new favorite thing to chew on is daddy's Nalgene water bottle. Don't worry; it's BPA Free.
9. I am excited to try out the new jogging stroller that we got.
10. I will have taken 5 plane rides in my first year of life.
11. My favorite TV show is The Office.
12. I have been in the Gulf of Mexico, the Pacific Ocean, and on top of a mountain in Colorado.
13. I am reppin' 4 college teams in my room (Florida, Texas Tech, Michigan, and Iowa).
14. I love being outside and going on long walks.
15. When Mom eats at Chili's, I spit up a lot during the next 24 hours.
16. I love watching sports on tv, especially seeing the Gators win a national championship in my first 7 months of life.
17. I love to pull and bite hair. Weird fetish, I know.
18. I am very well behaved when I am around people other than mommy and daddy. People say I am "such a good baby". Suckers.
19. While mom reads me my books, dad reads me articles out of BusinessWeek.
20. I can give the occasional high-five if I am in the right mood.
21. Mommy and daddy found my tickle spot and can get me to laugh whenever they want.
22. I hate naps. I only take them when absolutely necessary.
23. I hate socks, too.
24. I have bad gas. Mommy says it was genetically passed down from daddy.
25. I love my mommy and daddy very much, and show my love by trying to eat their faces.

Six Months? Time to get my eat on....

Oh yeah. That's right. I am now the big SIX MONTHS. Boo-yah! And with this momentous event came my first taste of what mommy likes to call "big boy food". I'm not so sure how much nutritional value I am getting from rice cereal, but it sure beats the usual boob and bottle routine. At first I was really distracted with everything going on around me, but now I'm pretty good at focusing on the task at hand. This week I will get to try a new food, which is pretty exciting. Almost as exciting as the National Championship Game on Thursday.

VIDEO TIME!!!

These are just a couple of fun videos Daddy took of me recently. The first is of me just waking up from a nap, after which I immediately roll over onto my belly to help get my gas out. The second video is of me playing in my jumper. I love this thing. I am trying to lose weight so that I will never out-grow it.

Eat my Feet

Mommy and Daddy are always cleaning toe-jam out from between my toes, and it can get annoying at times. So my buddy, Truett, showed me a cool trick on how to keep the toe-jam build-up to a minimum.

I'm a Big Boy, Foolz

I am growing up fast. I can now sit in my saucer and bouncey seat because my feet can finally touch the ground. I love playing in both of them, but I'd have to say that I am partial to the bouncey seat. Sometimes daddy jumps along with me and he looks like an idiot.

My First Halloween

I'm not really sure what Halloween is, but I had my first one a couple weeks ago. Mommy and daddy dressed me up in these weird outfits. Some other kids in weird outfits came to our door, and Papa and Gramee gave them candy. Here's a quick video of Mommy taking me trick-or-treating; whatever that is. Brain Damage

I was in a cranky mood the other night. Daddy will try just about anything to cheer me up...including throwing balls at my head. As you can see, I thought this was hilarious.

L.A. or Bust

Sorry to all my faithful readers for not blogging recently. I've been pooped after getting back from a long weekend in California for Aunt Rachel and Uncle Andy's wedding. We had a blast. I got to sleep in a room with mommy and daddy, which was convenient. If I wanted anything in the middle of the night, all I had to do was scream and they were right there.

Mommy took really great care of me while daddy was busy with wedding stuff.

I got to hang out a lot with Uncle Steve. Here we are at the pool. I drooled all over him and he didn't ever care. Just two pimps in a pod.

Aunt Lindsay is very sweet to me. I was really tired at the pool, so she let me take a nap on her.

Aunt Rachel looked beautiful all weekend long. I can see why Uncle Andy wanted to marry her.

Good Old Uncle Asdo was always there to make me laugh throughout the weekend. But I got everyone laughing when I spit up all over his suit. He'll learn not to airplane me right after I've had dinner.

One more of Aunt Lindsay and I at the reception. We partied hard, but then I had to go to bed before things got too crazy.

Finally, here is a video of mommy and daddy putting my feet into the Pacific Ocean, just like they did in the Gulf of Mexico three months ago. The Pacific Ocean was a lot colder!!!

Footloose

Now that I have figured out how to make noises with my mouth, I barely ever stop. I even make noises when I'm eating and sleeping, or so I'm told.

When daddy took me to the doctor's office last week, I overheard her say that I will soon start to play with my feet and use them more. So, right on cue, I started playing with my feet the other day. And once again, there was daddy with his video camera.

Throwback Outfits

Gramee (that is what I call daddy's mommy) saved a few of daddy's outfits from when he was my age so that I could wear them someday. Well, that day has come. Mommy and Daddy put me in these two outfits the other day. I must say that I am looking pretty darn handsome. Watch out ladies....
