Cole Being Cole

Hey Everyone! Sorry I haven't been updating the blog. I've been too busy just being a kid lately. Here are some pics and vids of yours truly. And don't forget to follow me on Twitter.

Here I am sitting in my green storage tub.

Here I am playing in my favorite outside toy.
Here I am scaling new heights after I made my way on top of this toy. Daddy has since taken the legs off the toy.

Here I am with Joshua, Daniel, and Matthew on our awesome camping trip. I got to sleep in the car with Daddy for half the night. Something about me crying too loudly. Anyway, I think Dad will post more pics and some vids on The Portal at some point.
Grandpa Al will be proud when he sees how well I can use a calculator.
I love to read books. So much so that I flip out if Mommy or Daddy won't read one to me when I want to.

Nothing says "cool" like some overalls.
Now for some video. In this feature film I am entertained by some hankerchiefs.

Playpen Time is also Silly Time.

If you are a dedicated follower of my blog, you already know what a big fan of The Office I am. Therefore, in honor of the show's 6th Season Premiere tomorrow night, here is a little video of how I respond when the theme song emerges from the tv.

Walk the Line

Just a few videos of your favorite 13-month-old boy.
Here I am chowing down on some yummy Chick-fil-A on Cow Appreciation Day at Daddy's store.
I love playing with the remotes, but I'm still trying to figure out how to turn the tv on.

I have been able to walk (for more than 1 or 2 steps) for a couple of weeks now and I love it! Here is a short video of some of the action. Nowadays I like to walk and drink from my sippy cup at the same time.

Big Baby C ---- Livin' the Good Life

Besides turning the BIG "1", I have been up to lots of stuff these past couple of months. I got to go to Seattle to see some of my homies, I found out that I am going to have a little sister, and I taught myself to walk (look for some video of that in a future blog). Here are some other things I have been up to:
Here I am in my swim gear ready to test out the new pool.

Video of my first dip in the pool.

I love being outside with Mommy!!!

I got a guitar for my birthday and have been learning how to play. Thanks Heidi, Pat, & Matt!!!

Keeping with the tradition of playing with things that aren't really toys, I have become very fond of opening and slamming this cabinet:

Papa & Gramee got me this baby doll to help prepare me to have a little sister. I guess I have some work left to do.
Here I am with my buddy, Drew, on the 4th of July. He's going to be a daddy in a few weeks!
Football season is a mere 8 weeks away, so I am making sure that I'll be ready to rep my teams when the season begins. Here I am in my Iowa shirt.
The Gators are so destined to raise another National Championship trophy this year, that I laugh at their opponents!

Goooooo Gators!!!!!!!!!!!!
And just like last season, I will be rooting for Texas Tech and Michigan as well.

Dearest Fans,

Dearest Fans,
So sorry for my absense in posting to the blog. As you know, I'm usually too busy being awesome to get on here very often. But I promise that I'll try to post more often since I know you all need your fix.
Here is some video of me spending some quality time with one of my lady friends, Sierra. We usually hang out once or twice a week, just kickin' it. She's a pretty cool chica, but don't worry ladies, I'm still single.

The woman in my life that I am closest to would be mi madre. I love playing games with her. She's a fun chicky.

I've been working out, so I like to show off my muscles. I have also been working on my jump shot. This video has both. Feel free to watch as many times as you'd like.

More videos to come as I get more awesomer...

Conquering Steps & Cousin Abuse

When Paige and Alexia came to see me, they were staying with some friends who have stairs in their house. This was the first time mommy and daddy let me try to climb some, and I conquered them no problem.

Having the cousins in town was a lot of fun. Paige loves to smack me around on my head, while Alexia is content washing down her cupcake icing with some cow-bubbley.

To see some more videos of the cousins trip to Colorado, visit mommy and daddy's blog.

Clapping, Waking, Friends, and Cousins!

Here are some videos for my fans.

I've recently learned how to clap.

Daddy thinks it is funny to film me as I'm getting up from a nap. I think it is funny to jump up and down in my crib.

Truett came to visit me. He's such a good friend and so fun to play with.

Here is a video of my cousins Paige and Alexia, and my friend Anson, eating cupcakes. My cousins are crazy!

Better late than never...

I meant to post these pictures a while back. Mom and Dad took me to a photo studio to get pictures taken for my 6-month birthday. I look like such a baby in these pictures. I definitely have a more mature look these days.

Lots of Videos, and 25 things...

I have been helping dad look for a job, so it has been a while since I updated the old blog. Here is a slew of videos, followed by 25 Random Things About Cole. Enjoy!

Here I am gearing up for the Gators' National Championship Game. They beat oklahoma 24-14!!!

Attempt #1 at eating peas.

Attempt #2 at eating peas. Not a fan at first, but now I'm starting to like them.

Picture of me really not liking peas.

Here I am doing a little crawling/scooting.

Playpen Time! Slam Dunk!

Playing on the ground with a toy that Aunt Colleen and Uncle Myers gave me.

More crawling. I love those electrical wires. Daddy says their dangerous. I say they taste good.

Six Months? Time to get my eat on....

Oh yeah. That's right. I am now the big SIX MONTHS. Boo-yah! And with this momentous event came my first taste of what mommy likes to call "big boy food". I'm not so sure how much nutritional value I am getting from rice cereal, but it sure beats the usual boob and bottle routine. At first I was really distracted with everything going on around me, but now I'm pretty good at focusing on the task at hand. This week I will get to try a new food, which is pretty exciting. Almost as exciting as the National Championship Game on Thursday.

Mommy feeding me for the first time.

Daddy kept saying something about not using my hands to eat.
